Laminating epoxy EC54+K12

I recently tested the Laminating Epoxy EC54 + K12, and overall I am very satisfied with the product.

It’s a very good resin, easy to work with, and delivers clean, reliable results. It performs perfectly for lamination, and as usual with ArtSupplie On Web, the price-to-quality ratio is very attractive.

If I may offer some constructive feedback: for making epoxy molds, I usually use an epoxy gelcoat for the first layers to capture fine details. However, this type of product is not directly available on the website. It’s not a major issue — since it’s possible to make your own gelcoat by thickening the resin with Aerosil and aluminum powder — but offering a ready-to-use epoxy gelcoat would be a real plus for users like me.

Another area for improvement: some competing suppliers offer epoxy hardeners with different curing speeds (slow, fast, very fast). Having these options would make it much easier to adapt the product to different types of projects, which would be very convenient.

That said, I remain very satisfied with ArtSupplie products overall. I’ve been ordering from them for about 2 years now, and I will continue to recommend this website to my colleagues as well as to the students I train.
