Base + hardener (up to 1 cm) of a two-component colourless, transparent epoxy system for casting and encapsulating objects that require true transparency and are resistant to yellowing.

Good resistance to UV, however, prolonged exposure to UV causes yellowing of the material.

Description:

Two component epoxy system, colourless, transparent.

The system is based on a low viscosity unfilled resin and an amine hardener. Long pot-life. Low exothermic peak allow the casting of quite large objects. It is necessary to check, based on applications, if the system is suitable for the preparation of casted transparent objects where different materials are coupled together.

Good resistance towards UV. The exposure to UV for long time causes neverthless a yellowing of the material. The system is RoHS compliant (European directive 2002/95/EC).
