    Technical Data

Applying a layer of wax creates a beautiful patina and aged effect. Method: Heat the floor wax in a bain-marie if necessary and apply with a brush or cloth. Spread the wax sparingly and evenly over the surface. Then wipe off the excess wax with a clean, lint-free cloth, leaving only a thin, even layer. If you are working on larger surfaces, it is useful to work in small sections. Applying layers that are too thick or uneven will result in a patchy finish. A wax layer that is too thick will also not be strong and hard enough and therefore less stain-resistant. So apply enough to saturate the surface, but no more than that.
