Foundry wax

Foundry wax is used to apply the ‘cire perdue’ method. Cire perdue is a technique for casting metal objects. Aluminium and cast iron are most commonly used, but steel, bronze, copper, magnesium, zinc and tin are also used in foundries to produce castings. The most common method for casting metal or glass objects is the lost wax method.
