Gelatine 300 bloom

Areas of application:

Product with performance particularly suited to the chemical, wood, paper and metallurgical industries.

A characteristic of the product is its greater gelling power and viscosity compared to other animal-based glues, which increases proportionally with the Bloom value (skin glues, in fact, can range from 200 to 500 Bloom).

Properties:

• Average open time
• Best used at an application temperature of 65–80°C to achieve maximum setting performance.

Recommended conditions of use:

• The product is prepared by dissolving it in cold water. Once the water has been fully absorbed, melt the mixture by heating it in a bain-marie until the working temperature is reached. After this procedure, the product is ready for use. Do not mix with other products to avoid problems; bone glue is only compatible with other adhesives of organic origin.
• It is recommended not to exceed a temperature of 90–100°C, nor to use a temperature lower than that recommended, as this will compromise the adhesive properties of the glue.

Cleaning:

The glue tank and other parts of the machine can be cleaned with hot water.
