Technical Data

Fillite® 52/7 S is a lightweight, free flowing, spherical, glass hard, inert, hollow silicate sphere.

It is primarily used to reduce the weight of materials but also imparts further benefits in many applications such as filler loading and improved rheological properties as a direct attribute to their spherical shape.

It can be machined with hardened metalworking tools and is easy to sand thanks to its hollow structure.

Treatment: Amount to be used (by weight):

  • Casting resins: 50 to 80 parts per 100 parts of resin.
  • Spatula compounds and pastes: 150 to 300 parts per 100 parts of resin.
