    Product details

    Technical Data

Rosin is used in soldering, among other things. In certain types of solder, it is enclosed in the core, where it ensures a good, smooth connection. It also protects the conductive connections against oxidation. Rosin is also used in printing inks, varnishes, adhesives (including the adhesive layer of plasters), medicines, shoe polish, chewing gum and soap, and for waxing the bows of musical instruments. For this reason, it is sometimes referred to as violin rosin.
