Monster Clay has an ultra-smooth formulation, which allows it to be melted at a low temperature, and has low tack so that it does not stick to your fingers or the material you are working on.
Advantages:
- Low density, meaning more product by volume.
- High elasticity, allowing the clay to be stretched when heated, much like caramel, so that hard-to-reach areas can still be covered.
- Sulphur-free, ensuring you can work with polyaddition silicones.
- Hardens at room temperature, allowing you to easily apply the finishing touches.
- Reusable: Monster Clay will never harden or dry out.
- Easy to use: Monster Clay melts easily and can therefore be poured into silicone, alginate and urethane moulds without the need for a release agent. The clay can be remelted at any time and hardens again upon cooling.
Use in ovens (recommended):
Monster Clay packaging can withstand 120°C. However, you should never heat the clay to more than 100°C; the best temperature is 65°C. It is best to give it a quick stir before pouring it into the mould.
Use in microwave ovens:
A full, unopened pack of clay can be microwaved on high for 3 minutes. Smaller quantities melt faster, so never heat for longer than 15 seconds!
