This pre-vulcanised natural rubber latex with low ammonia content and medium modulus is suitable for use in a wide range of dipping and related processes where dry film properties with medium modulus are required. It is only necessary to allow the latex to dry to achieve these properties. Vulcanisation is not necessary. The latex will turn “cream-coloured” when cured and must be stirred thoroughly before use. Stir gently to avoid air bubbles.
Use:
Apply the first layer of latex with a brush to prevent air bubbles between the latex and the mould. The following layers can be applied with a brush, by dabbing or pouring. Wait until the previous layer is dry before applying the next one. The final thickness of your mould should be 2 mm. Each layer of latex can be thickened with latex thickener (1 to 5%). The latex is hard after 24 hours.
