Crystal clear polyester resin 26/71 + hardener

Polyester 26/71 is a medium-high reactive resin, it’s hard and it has a medium viscosity.

Compared to the other resins having the same viscosity characteristics and the same styrene content, it allows to have manufactures more elastic but stiff, therefore less fragile but more resistant to the hits.

It can be worked with all the technologies of hand proceedings, casting, cut-and-spray, centrifugation and under pressure (low) casting .

Areas of application:

• It is suitable for resin workings, puttying and for the polishing of slabs and tiles, where the resin should not alter the stone colour or when it has to enhance the natural colour on filling holes or big faults.
• For transparent and coloured pieces. It is used in the production of gifts, particulars to be assembled, frames, garden lights, ceiling lights, light glasses, (car and bikes), etc.
• It can be used in the sector of the Mastics for marble and natural stones, where a perfect colourless manufacture after the curing with MEKP is requested. The mastic can be filled with Calcium Carbonate and/or other fillers or with thixotropic agents for transparent mastics.
• The resin is used for the production of sealing materials suitable to plates made of natural stones or in synthetic marble, like for instance the kitchen plates, bath and furniture in general. The obtained sealing effect is colourless and in the filled or coloured ones it gives a depth effect. The sealings can be pigmented, or enriched with colours to be dissolved in the resin and stabilized to the light where the product transparency is enhanced.
