Preparation:
The plaster must be used at temperatures of 18-25°C and preferably after a few days of storage.
Vacuum mixing:
It is recommended to weigh the quantities of gypsum and water to be used in the mixture. Put the water and the powder in a vacuum mixer and mix for 3-4 minutes. After mixing, fill the molds in 3-4 minutes. Wait for about 180 minutes before placing in the oven.
Manual mixing:
It is recommended to weigh the quantities of gypsum and water to be used in the mixture. Add the powder to the water and mix manually for 30 seconds, then mix for 3-4 minutes with an automatic mixer. After, let the mixture rest for 1-2 minutes into a vacuum bell. Then fill the molds in 3-4 minutes. At this point it is preferable to reinsert the cylinder into the vacuum bell for about 2 minutes. Wait about 60 minutes before placing into the oven.
Heating curve:
Wait approximately 180 minutes before placing it in the oven and starting the heating cycle. Then increase the temperature by approximately 3°C/minute to 200°C. Remain at 200°C for 45 minutes and then reach the operating temperature with a slope of 3°C/minute.
Maximum achievable temperature: 700°C.
